Titanium

Titanium has positively and diversely impacted mankind more than any single element. It has taken us to the depths of the ocean and to the far reaches of space.

Titanium is the only element possessing the strength of steel, yet with a weight comparable to aluminum. In fact, it was named after the Titans, known in Greek Mythology for their extreme and superior strength.

Not all titanium is alike. Because titanium offers so many distinctive qualities to such a variety of applications, it's no surprise that many grades of the material are available. Some grades are best suited for industrial uses while others prove more relevant to consumer product applications. Years of research and testing have proven that commercially pure grade 1 and 2 titanium is ideal for jewelry, providing the perfect combination of strength, durability and safety.

Commercially pure titanium can be cut, polished, engraved and reworked using traditional jewelers equipment, while the absence of alloys preserves the biocompatibility of the material.
